You can get an apartment with bad credit

ricardog started this conversation

I’ve been asked by a lot of people if creditors are pushing good credit, then how I am going to get into an apartment with bad credit.

Well my friends, I’ve been spending time in learn what has to happen. Now let me explain something to you that the reason for good credit is because that will help you get big products without struggling. When you have a lot of money, good credit is not important anymore. But I’m learning that you can get big products with bad credit. I will show you how to do that later on.

First of all, work on improving your credit. That is a known fact but sometime you have to go into this deep hole before you can get out of it. In the mean time or until you can get out of the hole and improve your credit. Getting an apartment can be a challenge but it can work.

Be upfront and honest. Tell your future landlord or apartment manager what has happen to you. Give them the reason of why you have bad credit. If the manager or landlord does not believe you, then go to the next person, someone will.

Pay extra. You might have to pay an extra deposit or 1 or last months rent. Now, I know you don’t have money at the time. But when you are up front and honest, lots of times they will give you 30 to 40 days to come up with the money. I know you can do that in that time frame.

Br creative, sometime you might have to take up an apartment mate or a relative to help you to get into an apartment. Let them co-sign, now I know a lot of you are cringing at the idea. But you must swallow your pride and slap yourself silly and you need to do these people right. It’s time to grow up. Don’t do them wrong. You’ve been there and done that, so it’s time to stop that trend.

These are simple things you can do to get yourself in an apartment. Sooner or later you are going to have to grasp the fact that you need a place to live and you going to have to do this right. Sometime it has to take a deep understanding to see things done. Now go for it.

I thought the goal was to get out of debt, not keep debt alive... Why be a slave to debt? If the 7 year bad luck starts again, then you are falling into the trap of keeping you in debt. So why keep debt alive? Remember, each state has different rules and laws. Some states drop debt, other want you to keep in debt. But more research is needed.

Don't ever try to pay off a debt in hopes of clearing your bad credit! It doesn't work that way. Making another payments just RESTARTS your 7 years of bad luck. The worst possible thing that you can do is try to pay off your debts. Let bygones be bygones!

Then that means, it's not a place for you to live. You need to move on and find somewhere else.

When you can a forward it, no matter how far or close. Then that is the place for you. Good job to seeing it through.

True I can see the extra money waved in a reluctant Lanlords face looking like a bar of gold. But sometimes the amount to move in is ridiculous...break the bank ridiculous. When your already broke,or living from paycheck to paycheck.
